Land Records

Records of land transactions in New York, both historic and present day, are maintained by the county clerks. Some counties (not all) have searchable indexes of present-day records on their web sites.  FamilySearch has a browse-only image database of historic records of land transactions from New York counties.  Use the pathfinder below as a starting point to navigate these records.
