ICPSR Social Science Data The Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research maintains a large archive of data for use by researchers in the social sciences. The archive includes over 7000 data sets from studies in the United States and worldwide on demographics, economics, education, geography, politics, health care, social institutions, and much more. Recommended for GIS projects that are attempting to answer general social science questions. Examples would be projects that analyze crime statistics as well as voting patterns. Suggested related spatial data would be Census Tracts, Boundaries and Election Districts or data available from the United Nations.
