Rob has an M.A. in Physical Geography/GIS (2004) from the University at Buffalo and has received a graduate certificate in data science from the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing (2017). In addition, Rob has expert experience using Geographic Information Systems software and related technologies, having earned the designation of GIS Professional (GISP) in 2013 and renewed in 2019. Professional interests include the integration and management of spatial data as well as information visualization across the curriculum.
Rob and his wife are parents of two. He enjoys running, camping, volunteering and raising vegetables.
