Honors Papers and Masters Theses

Students who have elected to undertake Honors at Hobart and William Smith Colleges traditionally deposit copies of their papers in the Colleges' Archives. The papers are available for consultation in the Archives & Special Collections.

Hobart and William Smith Colleges does not hold copyright to items in the Honors Papers and Masters Theses collections; we cannot make copies of these items. On-site use of these materials is permitted in the Archives & Special Collections.

Tips for Searching Honors Papers and Masters Theses


If you want to browse papers in a particular major:
  1. Do a keyword search for the major in the search bar at the top of this page (which is limited to these collections).
  2. Sort by "Date (newest)" to see the most recent papers.

If you know the title:
  1. Enter the entire title if you have it, or enter only a few significant words from the paper's title.
