EBSCO's Academic Search Premier contains indexing and abstracts for over 8,450 journals, with full text for more than 4,650 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. Subject coverage ranges across the humanities, social sciences, and sciences.

Alt-Press Watch showcases voices from grassroots newspapers, magazines, and journals. The database features over 670,000 articles from more than 270 publications. Coverage from 1970 to the present.

American Periodicals Series Online™ (APS Online) includes digitized images of the pages of American magazines and journals published from colonial days to the dawn of the 20th century. Titles range from Benjamin Franklin's General Magazine and America's first scientific journal, Medical Repository; popular magazines such as Vanity Fair and Ladies' Home Journal; regional and niche publications; and journals like The Dial, Puck, and McClure's.

JSTOR offers full-text articles in both multidisciplinary and discipline-specific collections. Most journals have a moving wall of 5 years, which means articles must be at least 5 years old before they can be retrieved through JSTOR. (Some journals have smaller moving walls.) HWS access includes most of the journals found in each of the multidisciplinary collections (arts and sciences I - XII), plus the life sciences and Jewish studies disciplinary collections.

A good starting place for your research, specifically for analysis or pro/con papers. The database contains a range of perspectives on many important issues, and includes resources such as viewpoint essays, newspaper and scholarly articles, primary sources, multimedia, and more.

Currently, Project MUSE® offers more than 650 quality journal titles from 125 scholarly publishers. Project MUSE covers the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, economics, and many others.

Databases include ABI/Inform, Proquest newspapers, and research library. More or less a cumulative database of newspapers, popular press magazines, and scholarly journals.

Social Sciences Index is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles of at least one column in length from English-language periodicals published in the United States and elsewhere plus the full text of selected periodicals. Coverage includes a wide range of interdisciplinary fields covered in a broad array of social sciences journals. Abstracting coverage begins with periodicals published in January 1994. Abstracts range from 50 to 300 words and describe the content and scope of the source articles. Full text coverage begins in January 1995.
