Bibliography of Asian Studies (BAS) contains over 900,000 records on all subjects (especially in the humanities and the social sciences) pertaining to East, Southeast, and South Asia published worldwide from 1971 to the present.
Complete reference guide to the history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding the United States and Canada, which are covered in America: History and Life). Currently over 2,300 journals published throughout the world since 1954 are covered in the database.
Humanities Index is a bibliographic database that cites articles from English-language periodicals, plus the full text of selected periodicals. Periodical coverage includes some of the best-known scholarly journals and numerous lesser-known but important specialized magazines. Full-text coverage begins in January 1995.
JSTOR offers full-text articles in both multidisciplinary and discipline-specific collections. Most journals have a moving wall of 5 years, which means articles must be at least 5 years old before they can be retrieved through JSTOR. (Some journals have smaller moving walls.) HWS access includes most of the journals found in each of the multidisciplinary collections (arts and sciences I - XII), plus the life sciences and Jewish studies disciplinary collections.
The MLA Bibliography database contains abstracts of articles on literary criticism, languages, linguistics, film, and folklore from over 4,000 journals, books and dissertations published worldwide.
Social Sciences Index is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles of at least one column in length from English-language periodicals published in the United States and elsewhere plus the full text of selected periodicals. Coverage includes a wide range of interdisciplinary fields covered in a broad array of social sciences journals. Abstracting coverage begins with periodicals published in January 1994. Abstracts range from 50 to 300 words and describe the content and scope of the source articles. Full text coverage begins in January 1995.
